If anything, this helped me remember some shows I have completely forgot about. Major Dad. Moesha. Smart Guy. Man there's some bad sitcoms out there. The premise hasn't changed much either. Props for #14 on the list. #1 isn't a surprise either, considering that show won an Emmy for that episode.
A very inventive stop-motion animation about making my favorite dip.
I don't know what the hell Forbes is doing on this. I guess it's kind of relevant by way of business strategy or something. But it's so weird to see something about Star Trek in this way…and it actually be written very nicely. It's a very smart, well done article.
It is a very strange coincidence that this comes up because I was thinking of the Love Boat: Next Generation this week. I've been watching a lot of Star Trek (as in going through every episode) and just thought of this thing that I hadn't seen in years. Then here it is. And it's just as funny as I remember.
Big props to hunting down all the skits too for you to watch.
You know you're a nerd when you can recognize the various sprites and animations from other 2D video games.
A very short and sweet look at Ralph Baer, a humble little old man that only changed the world.
From the developers of Heavy Rain is a great, I mean great little short (using PS3 processing power too). Awesome little short.
I have a man crush on Neil DeGrasse Tyson. This is a great piece of "profound understanding." In it are a lot of clips from Tree of Life. The opening of Tree of Life truly poetic. The rest of the film I can take or leave, but the opening is amazing.
Real spies, that is. No movie or videogame stuff, just interesting bits of history.
My friends over at Ninja Sex Party give us a brand new vid.
The Happy Video Game Nerd takes a quick look at Lagoon, one of my least favorite RPGs ever. He goes into why, but I don't think it's as redeemable as he does.
Gotta love that Predator gif.
