Cracked: Children's Pop Culture Theories
Cracked had a couple of really good articles the past week or so. Both about pop culture.
As long as White Russians are on there, I have no complaints.
Dark, very dark…but in a good way.
Gaming Historian: Little Samson
What an awesome video for a very underplayed game. And you know what? He's absolutely right on the whole "Samson=Bible game" theory. I know that's why I never picked it up. I remember seeing it and thinking exactly that and this little video just shows how wrong I was.
Cracked: Pop Culture Mysteries Solved by Fans
Some great ones here, the IBM one always one of my favorite "finally answered" observations. If you don't know, the theory for years was that HAL = IBM only one letter removed, IBM being the big thing back in the 60s. Kubrick didn't want to be that direct and say "IBM will create AI that will kill us" so he did it in a very Kubrick like fashion and hid the answer in easter eggs.
I like the Chaplin and Beatles ones also.

Ninja The Mission Force Episode One
Cheesy goofy fun brought to you by Ed and Brad. If you like 70s exploitation, this might be up your alley
Cinemassacre: Quatermass Trilogy
Can't say as I've seen any of these movies, but that's the point of videos like this: to expose those who aren't familiar to go out there and hunt them down. Let me see...
Well, not coming up in Netflix. This is going to be tough...
A perfect fit for Kyle's style. Ghost Dog is one of my favorite Jarmusch movies, which I have a lot of, but mostly because it's really one his most unique. This video is a great exploration of it.
Montage of Every Animated Disney Movie
A nice montage, but I will say: way too many Pocahontus, Tarzan clips, and I think I only saw four or five Snow White, barely any Bambi or Pinnochio etc.... Something odd there - it's certainly more focused on the recent movies.
I feel like I haven't seen Lajoie do a video in a while.

io9: Why Mass Effect is Important
You have no arguement from me. The sheer ambition of Mass Effect alone makes it important, but this article goes even a step further and calls it the sci-fi piece of culture that defines its generation, just as Blade Runner or Star Trek before it.
